This FAQ is a giant work in progress for now though a few of the basics.

I) What is a Simulation League?
A Simulation League also known as a "Sim League" is can mean many things. In the context of this web-site we are refering to a sports community gathered around creating a professional like league using some simulation to mimick the sport. That can be from the point of view as a player, coach, general manager, or any other position within an organization. Within each sim league there are generally two formats point tasks and non point tasks. Information about those can be found below.

II) What are common Sim League types and what do they mean?
Generally sim leagues are broken into player or general manager leagues. Player leagues refer to you creating one or more players in some sport and working your way up. Depending on the league you may start in the minors or some college league and try to make it in the pros. In a general manager league you generally take over all responsabilities of a professional team such as NFL or NHL and work your way to the title. In a point task league you have to do some sort of league related work to earn points toward your team or player. These are often helping with the league chores, writing media like articles, or making graphics for the league. In a non point task league you often earn points based on team or player performance. However many leagues use a combination of both and also in many cases these point task ideas may not even apply.

III) I don't like the grade my sim league received how can I improve it?
We have not yet decided the exact length of time but after some time X you can request a new grade and it will be added after the original to show the progress made by the sim league. At any time a grader may add a second opinion to a sim league but may not regrade unless the conditions are met.
